Tour Package Booking Terms
Applicable to individually quoted tour packages.
Last updated: August 21, 2026
1. Scope
1.1
These terms govern the booking of a tour package quoted to you by Holiday Paas Private Limited, CIN U79900TN2026PTC191610, registered office at Shop No.88, Ground Floor, D.No.172/88, NSK Salai, Vadapalani, Chennai – 600026 ("Holiday Paas", "we", "us").
1.2
Your booking is defined by the written quotation or confirmation voucher issued to you (destination, travel dates, itinerary, hotels, room and meal plan, vehicle, number of travellers, inclusions, exclusions and total price). Where these terms and your voucher differ, the voucher prevails for that booking.
1.3
These terms apply only to tour package bookings. They do not form part of, and are unrelated to, any other Holiday Paas programme or product.
2. Quotations and pricing
2.1
Quotations are valid for 7 days unless a different validity is stated, and remain subject to availability of hotels, vehicles and activities at the time of confirmation.
2.2
Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees and are based on the number of travellers, room occupancy and hotel category stated in the quotation. A change in any of these may change the price.
2.3
Price increases beyond our control after confirmation (such as statutory taxes, fuel or toll revisions, government fees or hotel peak-date surcharges) will be communicated to you with supporting details before travel.
3. Confirmation and payment
3.1
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the advance payment stated in the quotation and issue of a written confirmation from us. Verbal or chat confirmations alone do not create a booking.
3.2
The balance amount is payable before the date stated on your confirmation, and in any case before departure. Vouchers, hotel confirmations and vehicle details are released after full payment.
3.3
A receipt is issued for every payment received. Tax invoices will be issued upon completion of our GST registration, which is in process.
3.4
If payment is not received by the stated due date, the booking may be released and cancellation charges under our Tour Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
4. Inclusions and exclusions
4.1
Only items expressly listed as inclusions in your quotation or voucher are included. Anything not listed is excluded.
4.2
Unless expressly included, the following are excluded: airfare and train fare, personal expenses, tips, laundry, telephone and internet charges, camera and monument fees, optional activities, travel insurance, medical expenses, meals other than those in the stated meal plan, anything caused by delays, roadblocks or weather, and any service consumed outside the itinerary.
5. Hotels, transport and substitutions
5.1
Check-in and check-out follow each hotel's policy (typically 12:00 noon check-in and 10:00 am check-out). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be chargeable.
5.2
Where a confirmed hotel, room category, vehicle or activity becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may substitute an alternative of the same or higher category and will inform you. If only a lower category is available, the difference in cost is refunded to you.
5.3
Vehicles are provided as per the itinerary and are not at your disposal for unlimited use. Extra kilometres, additional sightseeing, night driving allowances, parking and permits outside the itinerary are payable directly by you.
5.4
Itinerary sequence may be reordered by our operations team or driver where road, weather, permit or timing conditions require it, keeping the listed sightseeing intact as far as practicable.
6. Travellers, documents and conduct
6.1
The lead traveller must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for the accuracy of all traveller details provided to us. Corrections requested after confirmation may attract supplier charges.
6.2
All travellers must carry valid government photo identification. Hotels may refuse check-in without it; such refusal is not our responsibility and no refund is payable.
6.3
Child rates apply only where the child's age is declared correctly at the time of booking, and hotels may require proof of age at check-in.
6.4
Travellers must comply with hotel rules, local law and the reasonable instructions of our staff and drivers. Unlawful conduct, damage to property or behaviour that endangers others may result in services being withdrawn without refund; any damages are payable by the traveller directly.
6.5
Travellers are responsible for their own health, fitness and medical requirements for the chosen itinerary, including hill roads and high-altitude sectors, and are advised to obtain travel insurance.
7. Changes by you
7.1
Requests to change travel dates, hotels, itinerary or traveller count after confirmation are subject to availability and to any charges levied by hotels, transporters or activity operators, which are passed on to you at actuals with supporting details.
7.2
Where a request cannot be accommodated, the booking continues on its existing terms or may be cancelled by you under our Tour Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Cancellation and refunds
8.1
Cancellations, no-shows, unused services and refund timelines are governed by our Tour Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Force majeure
9.1
We are not liable for failure or delay in delivering any service due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, landslides, floods, heavy rain, epidemics, strikes, curfews, civil unrest, government orders, road closures or accidents.
9.2
In such events we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives. Amounts recoverable from suppliers are refunded to you; amounts already spent or forfeited to suppliers are not refundable.
10. Our role and liability
10.1
We act as a tour operator arranging services from independent hotels, transporters, guides and activity providers. Those services are delivered by the respective supplier subject to its own terms.
10.2
Subject to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a booking is limited to the amount actually paid by you to us for the affected service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of baggage, valuables or personal belongings.
10.3
We are not responsible for delays or missed services caused by traffic, weather, third-party airline or railway schedules, or a traveller's own late arrival.
11. Communication and privacy
11.1
By submitting an enquiry or making a booking, you consent to being contacted by phone, WhatsApp, SMS and email regarding your enquiry, quotation and travel arrangements.
11.2
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Grievances
12.1
Complaints during travel should be raised immediately with our operations team on the number printed on your voucher so that a remedy can be attempted on the spot. Complaints raised only after travel limit our ability to verify and resolve them with the supplier.
12.2
Written grievances may be sent to info@holidaypaas.com and are acknowledged within 3 working days.
13. Governing law
13.1
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
